A baby was found in a dumpster tied in a nylon bag along Lekki, Lagos State. Some people around the area heard the cry of the baby and was able to rescue the baby and rushed the baby to the hospital.
According to a source, a call was put through to the Lagos State Emergency number 112 but they kept telling them to hold on that they were on their way. But the placenta was still on the baby and was smelling.
Though the emergency finally came but the baby was already rushed to a nearby.He further said that;
The emergency people got to the hospital where we took the baby but don’t have anything to attend to the baby, my people had to start going round looking for where to buy the things the hospital asked for so as to start treating the baby! Thank GOD for the 24hrs shop on the Island…. It would have probably been a different story.
The baby alive and doing fine…
