As part of activities marking this year’s Democracy Day, the Aso Villa Chapel, on Sunday, commenced a praise concert tagged “29-Hour Non-Stop Praise.
The concert which started at 1pm on Sunday is scheduled to end at 7pm on Monday.
According to the chapel’s Chaplain, Pastor Seyi Malomo, the event which is taking place will feature artistes like Pastor Kunle Ajayi, Pastor Elijah Oyelade, Chioma Jesus, Steve Crown, Solomon Lange and Kingsley Ike.
Other artistes include Moji Alawiye, Bukola Olubona, Chris Morgan, Samsung, Asu Ekiye, Nkechi Williams among others.
Malomo described the praise concert as “a necessary ingredient to bring down the glory of God upon Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, the chapel also on Sunday celebrated the children as part of activities marking the Children’s Day.
Children from the chapel as well as those from the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Grace Arena, made presentations such as songs and bible presentation.
The Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, who delivered the sermon titled “Herod wants to kill you, run,” urged everyone to at all time listen to godly counsel.
He also called on parents to always teach their children the way of God.
He thereafter prayed for the children.
