Nigeria's first military coup d'etat was led by a young man from South East, Kaduna Nzeogwu on January 15th, 1966. The Coup was one of the causes of the civil war, 1967 - 1970.
Some see him as hero, others see him as a national traitor. Sometimes, both are subjective.
One thing is however a fact; the coup led to the heartless killing of top nationalists. #NigeriaHistory
