At first, there were insinuations from various quarters that there was a beef between the P-square brothers, but many believed it to be a rumour since it was unconfirmed.
However, some pointed at Lola Omotayo,Peter Okoye’s wife, to being the one responsible for the brother’s beef.
Matters arose again when Paul Okoye took to social media and wrote...
“Only a woman can come where there’s peace and destroy it“.
This statement consequently fueled the accusation and pointing of fingers at Lola, who in turn took to her Instagram page to react saying hate has no place in her world here.

This largely somewhat confirmed that there was a beef between the two brothers, as Paul confirmed the cancellation of the duo’s US/Canada tour.

These brought about mixed reactions from fans of the duo. Some worried about the aftermath of brother’s beef and others wondered what could have caused the beef between them.
On Saturday, Paul Okoye took to Instagram to celebrate his nephew, Cameron Okoye who clocked 9 today. After wishing the lad happy birthday, he prayed for him here.

And so we thought, at least, sore is already softening between the duo.
Not until yesterday when Peter declared that he is now on his own, and on a solo music show in Philadelphia, amidst cheers from his team.
He declared today that his family comes first after a fan told him to prioritize his wife, Lola and his kids over his brothers. He has also reportedly removed every details on how you can book PSquarefrom His Instagram page.
The letter Peter sent to their lawyer - Festus Keyamo (SAN) on September 21, 2017, demanding out of the Psqaure contract has also gone viral.
In the letter, Peter defended his decision by making some serious allegations against his twin Paul and older brother/group manager Jude.
According to Peter, Paul is no longer willing to co-operate with him, even going as far as cancelling their planned US tour this year without informing him, and he (Peter) has exhausted all options to make it work.
He also accused Paul of slandering his wife and children with lies on social media, and alleged that they've now been receiving threatening messages.
Peter further accused his older brother Jude of once threatening to kill him and shoot his wife Lola. This allegedly happened in the presence of Paul and former first lady of Cross River state Mrs Imoke. Jude allegedly also threatened to bring a coffin for him (Peter) if he ever comes near his house.
Peter insists that he has had enough of the drama and wants out of the Psqaure group and contract. The singer who now refers to himself as Mr. P, stated that he loves his brothers and their families, and he wishes them the very best in their careers. However he cannot betray his wife and kids as they are very important to him here.
We hope the decision to split would be rescinded.
