Nomasonto Maswanganyi aka Mshoza, was born on the
7th of
January 1983.
She started singing at the age of 10 as well as participated in school plays.
Nomasonto joined and became lead singer in a choir between
1995-1996, danced for Chiskop 1998-1999.

In mid 1999 Nomasonto participated in Jam Alley where she free styled as a contestant over Chiskop’s instrumental (Abasazi) she was voted No.1 by Loyiso Bala and spotted by former Jam Alley presenter Nimrod Nkosi and producer of Jam Alley Oscar Mlangeni.
Eight months later she was featured on Mzambiya and Steve Likwiliya’s Jersy Number 10 EP, which was released in 2000. She officially signed up with Bull Dawgs as an artist and recorded her first solo album named (Bull Dawgs First Lady) featuring Mzambiya.
She was fortunate to have also done an international performance in the U.K along side Bongo Muffin. Other performances include Botswana where she performed along side the late phenominal Brenda Fassie, Thembi Seete and Mzambiya, Lesotho, Swaziland (invited by the Prince).
